Dr. Doleys joined the KSU faculty in the Fall of 2003. Prior to that, he held visiting positions at Gettysburg College (2002-2003) and the University of Missouri-Columbia (2000-2002). His educational background includes an A.B. from Duke University (1990), an M.A. from the University of Virginia (1992) and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University (2001). His dissertation examined the origins and evolution of the European Union’s competition policy regime. Current research continues to look at aspects EU competition policy, but he has recently become interested in broader questions of organizational design – both of EU institutions as well as international organizations more generally.
